Our history
Continuing a legacy that dates back to 1888: Saga Classic’s vision is clear. After careful
preparation, driven by genuine passion, this venture was launched on 1 September 2017 and
inaugurated on 23 May 2018 in La Roche-sur-Yon, at the RCM Group’s headquarters. At that time,
around twenty Classic and "Youngtimer" (modern classic) Mercedes models were already waiting for
their future owners in a special showroom area.
"We are clearly adding a new activity to our distribution group," explained Ronan Chabot, CEO of
the RCM Group. "It’s not a gadget and I want Saga Classic to become a department in its own
right..."
By 2019, Saga Classic had already extended its coverage, including a corner at the SAGA
Mercedes-Benz dealership in Lille, as well as the SAGA Mercedes-Benz dealership in Nivelles,
Belgium.
In 2022, it took over from G.G.E Classic at the Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil site.
Our team
Our team is made up of Christophe Relandeau and Louis Moneger, who together with Stéphane De Smedt, based in Belgium, manage vehicle sales and purchasing, sourcing and events.

Our adventure
